Uros floating islands are on West of Titicaca Lake and on North-East of Puno (from 7km), and at 45min of Capachica Peninsula. These astonishing islands are between parallels 15 and 50, at 3,810 m altitude.

Rural guest house

Visitors will stay in circular rooms made with reeds, with rustic decoration from craft and inhabitants’ creativity. Sanitary fittings are to be shared, and there are shower with hot water (solar shower).

Access

From Puno:

By boat: from Puno port, climb on board of the boat with Uros-Titino destination. The journey lasts between 30 and 40 min in rapid boat.

From Capachica (capital):

To reach Uros islands, take a boat to come out from Ccollpa or Korita, from Llachón community. Please contact us before you come, ASTURS also gives information to its office at Plaza Principal Jirón Juliaca, N°229 – Capachica.

From Juliaca:

In Juliaca, you can take a bus to the bus terminal which is situated between Avenue Tacna and Avenue Circunvalación, direction Capachica.  The journey lasts around 40min.
