DESCRIPTION:

DAY 1: Puno or Juliaca – Uros Titino – Ccollpa

7h30: Departure from Puno or Juliaca, up to the Uros Titino floating islands. Exhibition and participation to authentic activities from the islands: farm products, seaweed, fishes, reed’s family plants. Discover the beauty of the islands thanks to a boat trip, and share cultural exchanges with the Uros. Lunch: typical dishes with the families. On the afternoon, walk from Ccollpa to Llachón to take advantage of the panoramic views on the lake. Before dinner, exhibition of typical crafts. Night in the community.

DAY 2: Ccollpa – Taquile Island – Amantaní Island

8h: Breakfast with the host-families. Departure up to Taquile Island (1h20). Admire and then participate to local craft: hand-weaving. Typical lunch. Then, take the direction of Amantaní Island. Let’s walk up to the ceremonial center Pachatata and Pachamama (around 2h). Explanations on agriculture, habits, traditions and exhibition of craft stone-cut. Before dinner, visit the Principal Square of the island.

DAY 3: Amantaní Island –  Tikonata Island – Paramís – Puno or Juliaca

8h: Breakfast of typical Andin dishes, and departure from Amantaní Island to Tikonata Island. Take part in traditional fishing. Visit the Archeology and cultural interpretation of mommies’ museum. Lunch : eat typical dishes with the host-families. Then, take a small break and rest on the wonderful Paramís beach. Listen explanations on medicinal plants. At the end of the day, back to Puno or Juliaca.
