Walk is so good for health! And what is better than an atmosphere full of thousand-year old adventures from Uros floating islands passing by Capachica and Paramís up to the magical islands of Taquile and Amantaní?.
DESCRIPTION:
DAY 1: Puno –Uros floating islands – Paramís
7h: Transfer by private taxi from the hotel to Puno port, and let’s boat to discover the wonderful Uros Titino islands. Take part in traditional activities of your host-family: farm products exchange, seaweed, reed’s family plants and ecological cook. Raft trip with reed-made rafts around the islands. Then, take the direction of Taquile Island for a typical lunch. Hiking up to the Principal Square of the island for a spectacular panoramic view over the lake. Take part in local craft: hand-weaving. Finally, take the direction of Paramís community where you will be welcomed by the host-family. Make yourself at home in your guest-house. Taste typical dishes and help the family to put down the net before the night comes.
DAY 2: Paramís – Amantaní Island
7h: Breakfast of typical Andin dish. Exhibition of traditional fishing with Paramís families. Then, take the direction of Amantaní Island for a typical lunch. Let’s walk up to the ceremonial center Pachatata and Pachamama, to attend to a stone cut work group and visit the beautiful Principal Square of Amantaní. Finally, you will have the opportunity to share a time with the host-families during the dinner. Night in the guest-house.
DAY 3: Amantaní Island – Puno
8h: Breakfast with your host-family and departure up to Chifrón beach, a small paradise. At your arrival, visit the community and purify yourself with aromatic plants. Lunch: typical dishes, and then back to Puno.
