Incas’ Path
During this trip, you will discover the wonderful islands of Titicaca Lake, authentic place with a natural landscape. You will share unforgettable moments on Quechuas and Aymaras’ land.
DESCRIPTION:
DAY 1: Puno –Uros floating islands –Taquile Island – Amantaní Island
7h30: Departure from Puno up to Uros floating islands. Demonstration and participation to authentic activities from the islands: farm products, seaweed, fishes, reed’s family plants. Typical lunch from Taquile Island. Take part in a weaving work group. Then, take the direction of Amantaní Island.
DAY 2: Amantaní Island – Tikonata Island –Paramís
8h: Breakfast of typical dishes, and departure from Amantaní Island by a veil-boat, up to Tikonata Island. Take part in traditional fishing, and cook the local fish, Q’arachi. Then, visit the Archeology and cultural interpretation of pre Inca Tiahuanaco mommies’ museum. Typical lunch with the families. Rest a bit on the wonderful beach of Paramís. Explanations on medicinal plants. Dinner and night in host families, and listen Andin music.
DAY 3: Paramís – Sillustani, Lago Umayo – Puno
7h30 : Breakfast with host families, and take the direction of Sillustani. Boat trip up to the beautiful island of Umayo, to admire vicunas and flamencos. Then, discover precolombian funeral monuments in this archeological place. Typical lunch with the families. Demonstration of a craft workshop. At the end of the day, return to Puno.
