Let’s begin with wonderful and crystal clear beaches of Chifrón, Capachica. Then, we will go through Tikonata, Amantaní, Taquile islands and Uros floating islands.
DESCRIPTION
DAY 1: Puno – Capachica Chifrón
7h: Transfer in private taxi from the terminal or hotel in the cities of Puno or Juliaca, up to Chifrón community (around 1h). Make yourself at home in Inti Wasi Lodge and lunch with spectacular views on Titicaca Lake; cultural exchange with host families. Then, you can hike on the beach. Take your dinner and discover the Andin gastronomy. Sleep.
DAY 2: Capachica Chifrón –Tikonata Island – Amantaní Island
8h: Breakfast with panoramic views on the lake. Admire the impressing sunrise from Inti Wasi Lodge. Let’s boat from Chifrón port, direction Tikonata Island (25 min). During the journey, you will be able to observe traditional fishing with veil boat and oar. Lunch fish-made products tasting, from the higher sailing lake of the world. Then, let’s boat on the same boat, direction Amantaní Island for free time (45 min). Later, you will hike to the ceremonial center Pachatata or Pachamama (1h30). In these places, the ritual offering ceremony to Pachamama will take place as thanks to the Mother Earth. When you will go down, you will visit the beautiful principal square of Amantaní. Finally, you will have the opportunity to share a time with host-families during dinner. Night in a traditional guest-house.
DAY 3: Amantaní Island – Taquile Island – Uros floating islands – Puno
7h: Breakfast with host-families. Departure to Taquile Island (1h20). Observe and take part to craft hand- weaving with families. Typical lunch. Let’s boat to visit Uros floating islands. Back to Puno.
